This is ritual that brings creative power retrieval in your life.
The Alchemy part
Alchemy divides magical change into three parts, blackening, whitening, and reddening— death, a new thing , and embodied enjoyment and practice of the new thing in the ecosystem of your life. The whitening stage is when you can start to pick out some details or shapes of what’s coming and the reddening phase is the most tangible magical result, or the manifestation. This last phase gets the most public spotlight, and it does have the high honor of association with the goddess Babalon. However, the blackening stage is the most misunderstand and difficult to move through, This is made much worse by the cultural fear of death. Magicians can end up stuck in this part of the process because it’s hard to be present with it and there aren’t a lot of spaces to do it in. But look no further, because this is one of those spaces.
The Altar part
In Alchemy Altar you’ll write a messy, honest eulogy to give whatever you’ll be setting down a sacred ending and then be carried by the ritual space and group though supercharging the rest of the alchemical process. After, there’s a short ending ritual to tie off the energy. Then, there’s time to share at the end, vulnerability in this kind of space really adds a lot to the magick itself too, and it’s fun to hangout.
The opening and closing invocations have a lot of Babalon in them, which is also a great joy.

Alchemical change has three stages, death, new growth, and full bloom. They are known as Nigredo, Albedo, and Rubedo.
The Nigredo stage is associated with Saturn
The Albedo stage is associated with the Moon
The Rubedo stage is associated with Babalon
Change is hard and weird and this is why I invoke the Goddess Babalon through each phase. She loves the plentiful offerings of sensation and her current is integration and enjoyment itself. Brining this current into each stage of alchemy magnetizes the integrated, enjoyable, blooming results of the peak—the Rubedo stage, which she rules.
The time to do this ritual is after an ending, or death. It’s an ideal follow-up companion for Alchemy Altar.
What happens in the ritual:
Your sacrifice at the gate has granted passage into a realm of potential and building.
Creating an intentional ending communicates to your subconscious mind that it’s time to make something new and better.
When you find yourself in the void after an ending, when the scaffolding of fresh frameworks are still being created there is a chance to support them on purpose.
Albedo is the phase of alchemy that follows the nigredo phase. It’s what happens after the clearing of death.
In this ritual you will identify any constriction, limits, or secret expectations that are subconsciously informing your coagula process and transform them in the grail of the Goddess Babalon.
The result will be a radiant result, a sped-up alchemical process, and the mysterious, bountiful rewards of connecting with the Goddess Babalon
